Cyndy Drew grew up in the shadow of New York, then spent a year at a tiny college in the South.
For her next adventure, she fit her whole life in a backpack and moved out West.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. A year later, she held a Masters in Education.
For the past decade, Cyndy Drew has taught writing to struggling young adults; in total, she has mentored over 600 students. Experience has taught her that students need a balance of butt-kicking honesty and genuine, specific praise. Thus, she has developed a rare trait: the ability to critique without criticizing.
